She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in construction. “I’m pleased to welcome Senita into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her success in the construction field is sure to inspire young girls and women to choose this career path.”
Coming to the United States to seek asylum from the Bosnian genocide, Senita Hadzic has made a name for herself in the world of construction in California. She started her career as a Data Entry / Customer Service Representative for Hunter Douglas, pursued her education by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from San Jose State University and worked her way up to her current project management position.
Ms. Hadzic utilizes her skills and expertise in construction, contract writing and estimates to give the best results in her designs of residential properties. “It is hard for me to pick one favorite project,” she said. “In a way, all of the projects that I have worked on have been fun and rewarding. I love the challenge of being entrusted to come up with a price that meets the customer’s budget and also makes their dreams possible.”
When she is not working, Ms. Hadzic volunteers for multiple charitable organizations, including Our Splendid Soil – a California-based nonprofit that provides direct humanitarian aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is also drawn to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
