National Association of Professional Women Announces Regina McCllelan Pierce, Director of Business Relations, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 10, 2014 -- NAPW honors Regina McClellan Pierce as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Pierce is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 400 Local Chapters.
“I love working with numbers and making everything balance out,” says Ms. Pierce. “I love a challenge!”
Years ago, Ms. Pierce realized she had a natural ability with numbers when she began working with her aunt’s temp service, filling in whenever she was needed and helping with bookkeeping tasks. Now, as Director of Business Relations at Vintage Construction Inc., which is currently doing business as Tennessee Foundation Services, she handles many financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll, workers compensation and other HR issues. In short, Ms. Pierce plays a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the company run as smoothly as possible.
Ms. Pierce started with Vintage Construction Inc. about seven years ago. She eagerly learned all she could about the company, which specializes in foundation repair and waterproofing, and has steadily taken on more and more responsibility. Eventually, she was promoted to Director of Customer Service and served in that role for two years, before being promoted to her current position. A dedicated employee, Ms. Pierce has a strong work ethic and a determination to succeed. “Through networking and continuing education courses, I plan to experience continuous growth both professionally and personally,” she says.
