It was that passion for vibrant lipsticks and shiny nail polishes, and her entrepreneurial spirit, which ignited Ms. McRae's drive to establish her company, Peeks Cosmetics, an online source for high-quality makeup. She was particularly determined to persevere after experiencing a health crisis that left her in a coma for three weeks and unable to work for one year. “I knew I couldn’t let that hinder my dreams, so I finished my education and got my degree!,” said Ms. McRae.
Now focused 100% on her business, Ms. McRae uses her skills in business and marketing to help women look their best. From carefully choosing the cosmetics that are featured on her website to expertly promoting launches of new products through social media and networking, Ms. McRae manages the day-to-day operations of Peeks Cosmetics. The site, she says, caters to a wide range of customers, and includes such products as Vitamin E lip glosses, mint-infused liquid lipsticks, long-lasting, high-pigment eye shadows and more, all offered in a plethora of high-fashion shades.

She goes on to mention her long-term goals are to have her own storefront and bind contractual agreements with department stores to sell her high-quality products.
