The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Lisa Chavez as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in financial services. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Lisa Chavez is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her career goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. She brings over ten years of experience in both the legal and financial services fields to her former position as Vice President and Global Head of Tax Compliance.

Ms. Chavez’ skills and areas of expertise include tax law, banking, financial services, international tax, securities, withholding and global custody. In her former role, she led Northern Trust’s global tax compliance function, and provided guidance and oversight regarding tax withholding and reporting requirements.

A member of Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, Ms. Chavez obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from St. Ambrose University.
