National Association of Professional Women Inducts Elizabeth Moncada, Owner, Moncada Center for Orofacial Pain, into its 2015-2016 VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in oral healthcare. Since 1993, she has specialized in treating head and neck disorders, including headache, orofacial pain, TMJ disorders, sleep apnea and snoring. "There are few of us who are formally trained and board certified in this area of specialty,” said Dr. Moncada. “I am thankful for my education and my mentors.”
Dr. Moncada was praised for a recent article, Pain Updates, which she co-authored in the Journal of the American Dental Association. She is also an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Orofacial Pain specialty certification exam. Dr. Moncada is a proud Mexican American, who was honored to represent her specialty and speak at the Hispanic Dental Association National Meeting in Boston, MA, in October 2013. Her goal is to continue to make a difference in people’s lives with more meaningful contributions to Camphill Communities, a residential care community for adults with developmental disabilities and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
