National Association of Professional Women Announces Linda Howard Bittner, Owner / Director at Wild Graphics Studio, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Bittner is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in graphic arts. Linda Bittner has been a graphic designer for more than 20 years. “I am forever trying to capture the charm and character of our natural world,” says Ms. Bittner. Her passion for nature is reflected in many of her illustrations, which can be found in National Geographic Books, Outdoor America magazine and at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Her client list includes Scholastic, McGraw-Hill, Playskool, Publications International, AAA Magazine and more.
As an accomplished graphic designer and the sole proprietor of Wild Graphic Studio, Ms. Bittner is skilled in traditional digital illustration, page layout, graphic design, type design scanning and prepress work. Her works have graced many products including greeting cards, giftware, children`s books, toys, games, puzzles and interactive exhibits. She works in multiple styles from the whimsical to tight-realistic illustrations for scientific markets.
Ms. Bittner has a Bachelor degree in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art & Design in central Ohio. Her travels have taken her throughout the United States and around the world, gathering experience and insight along the way. Many of her trips have involved hands-on work with wildlife, conservation efforts and humanitarian work. Ms. Bittner’s international travel has included trips to South Africa, Guatemala,the Amazon interior, Mexico, Canada, England, Germany and various islands throughout the Caribbean.
