A. Veronica Precup is recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

I have reached the top of my career ladder after a steady climb from my days as an Editorial Assistant and Proofreader.

The National Association of Professional Women honors A. Veronica Precup, Editor-in-Chief of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Precup is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in editorial and production management. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 6000,000 members and nearly 300 Local Chapters.

”I have reached the top of my career ladder after a steady climb from my days as an Editorial Assistant and Proofreader,” says Ms. Precup, a seasoned publishing professional with more than 25 years of publishing experience.

With a background that includes analyzing client requirements, managing project teams, problem solving and strategic planning, Ms. Precup also counts technical editing, indexing, SGM>, XML, HTML and CD-ROM development among her many capabilities.

Ms. Precup specializes in scholarly print (books, journals and encyclopedias) and electronic products, especially in the scientific, technical and medical (STM) fields. She worked for many respected organizations such as the American Statistical Association, TechBooks (Aptara Corporation) and U.S. Pharmacopeia. Ms. Precup has been awarded the U.S. Pharmacopeia Lightning Award 1998 and the Association Trends Media Bronze Award 2008, and was chosen as a Gold Circle Award Winner for Peer-Reviewed Journals 2012 by the American Society for Association Executives.
