National Association of Professional Women Inducts Michelle Alexander, M.Ed., Head of Lower School Cannon School, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in education. A Master of Education graduate from the University of Illinois, Michelle Alexander brings a strong skill set to her role as Head of Lower School at Cannon School. Her skills and areas of expertise include professional development, relationship building, coaching, mentoring and problem resolution.
Over the past school year, Ms. Alexander helped to develop a new administrative team within the Cannon School, a private Pre-K through 12 college preparatory school located in Concord, NC. According to its website, “the Cannon School’s goal is to equip this next generation with habits of the mind and spirit that will provide them with an expertise to confront new situations and overcome new challenges with a steadfast resolve.”
Ms. Alexander is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the Independent Association of Central State Schools. When not working, she is active in her church community.
