National Association of Professional Women Inducts Beckie Jorgensen, Professional Coach, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Beckie Jorgensen as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in human resources and coaching. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to recognize Beckie with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
After graduating with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s degree in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University, Ms. Jorgensen embarked on a career as a human resources professional.
Fifteen years later, she made a huge discovery — traditional weakness management creates disengaged employees who feel "stuck" in their jobs and lose passion for the work they once loved. “I was one of them,” said Ms. Jorgensen. This led her to the work of Gallup and Marcus Buckingham, renowned authors and motivational speakers who have studied employee engagement in the workplace and the development of innate talents into strengths. Her own strengths discovery inspired her to transition into a rewarding career as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
“I want to inspire people to never give up on their dreams, passions and hope! By coaching people to discover their unique talents and developing them into strengths, they achieve greater personal and professional fulfillment, which, in turn, creates a happier life,” said Ms. Jorgensen. Her infectious enthusiasm inspires confidence in others to create an intentional plan of action to never give up on their dreams and to be their best selves.
