NAPW Inducts Sarah Jeanine Tompkins, Subcontracts Manager at Mass Electric Construction Co., into Its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Sarah Jeanine Tompkins as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in engineering. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating local chapters.

“I'm pleased to recognize Sarah with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

After seeing a finished designed product during her first summer internship in college, Sarah Jeanine Tompkins became inspired to enter the construction industry. In her current position as Subcontracts Manager at Mass Electric Construction Co. (MEC), Ms. Tompkins preserves and protects MEC's contractual rights under the executed contracts with its clients, including their management, estimating, planning, construction and contract negotiation.

"The most rewarding part of my career is the opportunity to be involved with all of my company's projects and turning clients into raving fans of our services!" she said.

Ms. Tompkins obtained her Bachelor's degree in General Engineering and is currently involved with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
