National Association of Professional Women Announces Pamela Shore, President/QA Officer of Palm Beach Environmental Laboratories, a 2015 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) November 04, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Pamela Shore as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in environmental testing. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Pamela Shore is a dynamic professional with a 20-plus-year background in environmental laboratory training. Her experience includes organic analysis, organic department method development, research experience involving the development of new extraction techniques for unusual matrices (specifically marine tissue) and more. In 2005, Ms. Shore became the President and QA Officer at Palm Beach Environmental Laboratories (PBEL), which specializes in environmental testing.
In addition to developing the PBEL quality manual, Ms. Shore is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control requirements in the laboratory and field. She expertly ensures continued State of Florida Laboratory certifications, including NELAP. She is also responsible for conducting periodic internal audits and investigations, documents protocol deviations, initiation of corrective action and generating legally defensible data.
Ms. Shore received her Master of Science in Chemistry from McGill University. She coauthored the article Functional Zonation of the Human Fetal Adrenal Cortex: Fetal Versus Definitive Zone Utilization of Progesterone for Cortisol Synthesis, which was published by the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1984.
Ms. Shore keeps pace with the exciting changes that accompany the evolution of her profession through her memberships with the Florida Society of Environmental Analysts, ACS and the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals. Outside of her successful career at Palm Beach Environmental Laboratories, Ms. Shore is a devoted supporter of charitable organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
