The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Grace Rousseau, M.Ed. as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. After 26 years of teaching secondary science, Ms. Rousseau made the decision to further her interest in the educational component of sustainability. The Spring of 2015 ushered in a time for realizing Ms. Rousseu’s dreams with a hard-earned M.P.A. in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University. The coveted degree will bring her closer to her goal of working for a nonprofit organization that uses education as a means of building the capacity for sustainable practices with stakeholders.
Ms. Rousseau’s experience has given her a host of tools to utilize in management, research, and evaluation. This includes working on curriculum development, integrating technology, multicultural perspectives and creating and managing work teams.
