National Association of Professional Women Announces Marlena Desiree Mardigan, CEO / Principal of Mardigan Executive (ME), a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- NAPW honors Marlena Desiree Mardigan "Dezz" as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As the largest networking organization of professional women in the country, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 300 Local Chapters.
“What I find most rewarding about my career is that I am afforded the opportunity to really make a difference and an added value proposition to my clients by growing their staff and their profits. I do this by matchmaking and placing super-talented rainmakers and teams into their organizations; at the same time, improving the quality and standards of the lives of those super-talented rainmakers,” says Ms. Mardigan.
As CEO / Principal of Mardigan Executive (ME), Ms. Mardigan, “The Business-To-Executive Matchmaker,” is instrumental in finding the best talent for the right company, specializing in executive-level and professional licensed services recruitment for healthcare, legal industries and other fields. ME also offers growth strategies for organizations, recruitment department boot camps, as well as career consultation for her candidates. With more than 25 years in recruitment (high profile and volume-based), she has the industry knowledge and business acumen necessary to help other companies succeed. Ms. Mardigan founded her own company so that she can best serve all of her clients, on both sides of the transaction: “ME signifies the ME in me, helping the ME in you.”
In addition to successfully operating her business, Ms. Mardigan is in the process of establishing G*Babies, a nonprofit organization inspired by her own (and others') personal painful experience of being isolated from their grandchildren. “My nonprofit will provide support to other grandparents experiencing isolation and, at some point, match grandchildren to grandparents,” she says. Ms. Mardigan hopes to provide ‘grandchildren-less’ grandparents with the support and resources they need to help them through these difficult alienation situations.
Also underway are plans to expand ME. “The future goals for my company are to increase the company brand (nationally and globally), gaining exposure and visibility by participating in and becoming more community minded by sponsoring select events / organizations, mentoring to less fortunate and aspiring businesswomen and by partnering with like-minded companies in these endeavors,” says Ms. Mardigan.
Awards & Accomplishments: National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO); The Edge Connection, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MAC); Dezz has won several awards both globally and nationally
