NAPW Inducts Debra Baxley, Faculty Administrator, Florida State University, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Debra Baxley as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in higher education. Ms. Baxley has nearly four decades of administrative experience in a variety of industries. Since joining Florida State University (FSU) in 2002, she has honed her skills in business and administrative management, leadership, team building, budgets and finance. Presently, Ms. Baxley is Faculty Administrator at FSU, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Before taking on that role, she worked in a number of departments at the college as a Program Coordinator and Business Administrator.
“I like to work in a team or individually as long as the task is completed accurately and timely,” she said. “My supervisory experience includes administrative, accounting, budget, facilities and laboratory technicians.”
Before joining FSU, Ms. Baxley spent more than 20 years at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. There, she steadily climbed the corporate ladder, continually taking on more responsibilities and expanding her skillset, including human resources, public information and legal administration.
