In the financial services field for more than 15 years, Mrs. Williams started her career in corporate accounting as a Senior Regional Accountant in higher education accounting. She founded McClain, Harris & Associates in 2007; the full-service accounting firm was rebranded to CFO Benefits Inc., in 2014. In her role as Chief Executive Officer of the accounting firm, she manages and motivates a team of finance professionals who provide expert tax, payroll and accounting services for a vast array of clients, from e-business operations to nonprofit organizations to property management companies to healthcare clinics, and more. In addition to its headquarters in Atlanta, GA, CFO Benefits Inc., has two other locations in Charlotte, NC and Miami, FL.
Mrs. Williams, who is a registered tax preparer with the IRS, works tirelessly with business owners to implement solid solutions that help them succeed financially. Her skills and expertise include reviewing financials, developing corporate management strategies, fulfilling grant requests for nonprofits, preparing financial presentations for investors, identifying cost savings and areas of improvements, managing accounts receivables and payables, and auditing bank statements.
For two years, Mrs. Williams was an Adjunct Professor of Accounting and Business at Strayer University, where she shared her extensive industry knowledge with students. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Independent Accounting Professionals, Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society for Business Professionals, and the National Black M.B.A. Association. Mrs. Williams is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and an UoPx Alumni Mentor.
