National Association of Professional Women Inducts Arpita Mazumdar, Vice President, Business Manager at Goldman Sachs, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

Arpita (Arpi) Mazumdar, is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs where she holds the official title of Business Manager in Global Securities Division Management and Strategy at the office of the COO. With her stellar reputation as a savvy business development professional, Ms. Mazumdar manages large-scale global change initiatives through implementing people management, communication and franchise design strategies.
Prior to assuming her current position in January 2015, she held various roles with Goldman Sachs, including that of Americas Franchise Manager for Fixed Income Sales from 2010 to 2015 and Compensation Administrator within the Equity Compensation team in HCM from 2004 to 2010. Before joining Goldman Sachs in 2004, she worked at Citigroup, holding a variety of positions in Asset Management.
Ms. Mazumdar received her Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing and Finance from SUNY Albany. She is also a 2014 Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) Fellow and Executive member and a sponsor for Women to Women International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization that provides practical and moral support to women survivors of war.
