National Association of Professional Women Announces Melissa A. Harris, Reporting Manager at Hunter Douglas, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Harris is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. In her role at Hunter Douglas, which manufactures and markets window coverings and architectural products all over the world, Ms. Harris is responsible for creating a variety of business reports. She interacts with many departments to determine the specific needs of each one. Through careful analysis where she applies her financial expertise, as well as her knowledge of marketing and advertising trends, Ms. Harris is able to provide critical data to those departments.
Prior to joining Hunter Douglas nearly four years ago, Ms. Harris honed her analytical skills and business acumen at two other major international companies: Medco and Hertz. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Finance from Pace University.
