Elizabeth Singh selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

I’m pleased to present Elizabeth with this important honor. Her knowledge and experience in financial services are valuable assets to her clients and community.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Elizabeth Singh as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in financial services. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating local chapters.

“I’m pleased to present Elizabeth with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in financial services are valuable assets to her clients and community.”

In her role as Senior Financial Analyst at American Express, Ms. Singh uses the vast knowledge she has gained working in the financial services industry for more than 15 years. Responsible for supporting the company’s global prepaid card business, she also manages financial reporting, analytics and training for Gift Cards, Serve, Bluebird and RedCard across the US and Canada.

“My mind is very analytical, which drives me to dive deeper into understanding the ‘why’ in everything,” she said. “This enables me to look at things with a fresh perspective and develop new solutions if / when appropriate.”

An excellent communicator, Ms. Singh’s willingness to think outside of the box has contributed to her reputation as a dedicated professional among colleagues and leaders alike. A single mother, she is equally committed to being a role model to her son and always strives to achieve a balance between work and family time. Among her many professional goals are Ms. Singh’s plans to continue to learn and grow in her role at American Express by taking more risks and leadership roles. Personally, she hopes to get more involved in nonprofit organizations such as Wounded Warrior Project.

“I want to build on my passion to be the best mother, daughter, partner, sister, friend and colleague I can be,” she said.
