Her extensive background in textiles and printing immersed her in the world of international design and architecture, as well as the world of specialty retailers, hospitality and entertainment.
Ms. Durkan was the Recipient of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society 2004-2005 Woman of the Year Award in Los Angeles. She is also a board member of The Circle of Huntington Hospital– Breast Cancer Support Group and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in 2010. She is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women, ICMAD, Fragrance Foundation and Managers of Luxury & Managers of Beauty.
