Garden City, NY (PRWEB) March 28, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Michele Hoskins as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Michele into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Fascinated by the option of entrepreneurship and the flexibility of being in charge of her destiny drove Michele Hoskins to pursue a career as an entrepreneur. “Being an entrepreneur provides me with the ability to make a difference in others’ lives, financial freedom and the gratification of creating something larger than myself,” said Ms. Hoskins.
For more than 13 years, Ms. Hoskins has been an entrepreneur and franchise owner. Her responsibilities are many, including ensuring franchise quality and service standards are maintained, managing the company finances, daily operations, customer service, human resources, marketing, organizing community events and activities, and business planning.
“As a resilient business woman, I utilize money management, fundraising, human capital, effective communication, strategic planning and branding skills, daily,” said Ms. Hoskins. She uses her expertise and knowledge of money management and fundraising to help other organizations reach their goals. Although the path of entrepreneurship has its challenges, Ms. Hoskins welcomes the many opportunities it has afforded her. Among her future goals is to grow professionally, take on the roles of author, speaker and leadership coach, and to one day establish a “Soup & Sock Kitchen” to help provide free meals and clothing for the homeless in San Antonio.
