National Association of Professional Women Announces Gale Fontaine, Owner at GF Amusements and Jac Pack Inc., a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

She is recognized for leadership in gaming products with this prestigious distinction. When Gale Fontaine settled in Florida 38 years ago she was working in the restaurant business. After volunteering at a local bingo hall for charity, Ms. Fontaine found her life’s purpose – charitable giving through gaming. Since then Ms. Fontaine has devoted her time and efforts to raising money for 35 different charitable organizations.
Ms. Fontaine was the Owner and Principal of Florida’s famous Hollywood Kafe from 1999 to 2009. Currently she is the Owner of many popular gaming facilities frequented by seniors including Rec Room Arcades, Bingo at Four Corners, Coverall Café, GF Amusements and president of the Florida Arcade and Bingo Association where she represents bingo and arcade owners throughout the state of Florida. Ms. Fontaine has the honor of being responsible for working with Florida’s state legislature to allow gaming to continue to operate legally in the state.
Ms. Fontaine and her husband were recognized as South Florida’s Finest Couple and Ms. Fontaine was chosen for Broward County’s Senior Hall of Fame. She is also a member and past President of the advisory council at the Aging Disability Resource Center and a member of the board of directors at the Alzheimer’s Family Center in Broward County.
