National Association of Professional Women Announces Deborah Jennings-Conner, Director - Global Health Sciences Operations at UL, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

As Director - Global Health Sciences Operations at UL, Ms. Jennings-Conner expertly manages a team of professionals who support other corporate departments and initiatives, including Medical Quality Management Systems (MQMS), FDA 510(k) Third-Party Reviews, Medical Device Safety Certification Services and Healthcare Use Laboratory Equipment Safety Certification Services.
During her career, Ms. Jennings-Conner has honed her skills in leadership and management. Her expertise includes an extensive background and training in LEAN Six Sigma, a management strategy that has been proven to help organizations operate more efficiently. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Jennings-Conner is passionate about giving back to those in need in her community and beyond. She has worked with others in her own neighborhood, including her mother, to help establish a much-needed local rescue squad. Ms. Jennings-Conner obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University.
