The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Joyce Butler as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. Ms. Butler, who earned an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix, has been in the healthcare industry for more than 35 years. As QRA Compliance Officer, she is involved in all aspects of compliance for the Fortune 19 company that improves the cost-effectiveness of healthcare. Ms. Butler is responsible for making certain all policies and procedures are properly maintained and organized, and all necessary changes are made in a timely manner.

During her highly successful career, she has honed her skills in IT systems work and regulatory compliance. Ms. Butler has held a number of key roles at Cardinal Health. In 2001, as an Operational Excellence Black Belt, she was awarded the first Top Gun Award. “This award is presented to Operational Excellence projects that have been executed, saves Cardinal Health expense dollars and improves efficiencies in the operation,” noted Ms. Butler. Recently, the Lakeland division of Cardinal Health was a recognized with a national award at the 2013 National Business Conference.
