The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Pamela Tripp as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I’m pleased to recognize Pamela with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Pamela Tripp is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her career goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. She brings 35 years experience in the healthcare industry and over 20 years of “experimentation to develop . . . excellence in culture, quality, finance and governance,” she said.

Ms. Tripp has earned a variety of titles such as Radiologic Technician, Community College Professor, Senior Hospital Healthcare Leader, certified John C. Maxwell Speaker, Coach, Trainer and Mentor. She is the CEO of a large community health center system spanning six counties in southeastern North Carolina. She actively speaks at community civic organizations, churches, college graduations, radio programs, scholarship award banquets and fundraising events and has presented at national healthcare conferences. She can be found on many mainstream social media websites.

Earning international recognition for her outstanding work as a service excellence leader in healthcare, received the Healthcare Excellence Founder Award from Custom Learning Healthcare Excellence of Canada. Having served on local, state and national boards, and founded a community college endowment, the Pamela M. Tripp Women in Leadership Scholarship. Among her many accomplishments, she has published her first book based on an improved healthcare curriculum, A Culture That Heals, A Culture That Kills, with the intent of transforming healthcare culture.
