National Association of Professional Women Inducts Dr. Leila C. Morris, Physician at Leila C. Morris, M.D., P.A., Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

Dr. Leila Morris’ strong work ethic and professionalism does not go unnoticed. For almost 14 years, she has had the pleasure of managing her solo practice in South Florida. Creating bonds between families and friends is one way Dr. Morris enhances the interpersonal relationships in her office.
Originally from Providence, RI, Dr. Morris was raised in Sarasota, FL. Returning to New England for school, she obtained three degrees from Boston University: Bachelor of Arts, Magna cum Laude – Biology major / Spanish minor; Master’s degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine and, finally, her Medical degree in 1997. She served as Chief Resident and pursued her Family Medicine Internship and Residency at Duke University in Durham, NC. Following graduation, she joined a group practice in North Carolina for two years. Motivated to continue her education, Dr. Morris is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida.
Justifiably proud of her achievements, Dr. Morris is focused on preventing disease and promoting wellness through a mind-body approach that includes an appropriate diet, exercise and nutritional supplementation. She has built a reputation as an outstanding business owner and physician. Dr. Morris has been able to align her professional career with a firm education that reflects her own dedication to excellent care for her patients.
