National Association of Professional Women Inducts Trish Reed, M.B.A., Health Coach/Personal Trainer HotWreck.com, into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) April 04, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Trish Reed as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Trish into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Trish Reed’s journey began when thyroid complications during a pregnancy led to weight gain, migraines and more. By working with her doctors, and making lifestyle changes that included diet and exercise, Ms. Reed slowly improved her health. After her position at the medical device company where she had worked for ten years was eliminated, she made the bold decision to change course and follow a different path, one that was spurred on by her obsession with her own health these past 18 years.
Ms. Reed recently founded HotWreck.com and is now pursuing a career as a Health Coach and Personal Trainer. “I am my own test subject and I’m feeling great, with more energy that I have had in years,” she said. Using the same techniques and programs that have worked for her, she now focuses on helping others. “I am responsible for assisting others to find their inner self, their stronger, healthier selves, empowering them to take back their lives through diet and exercise,” said Ms. Reed.
Offering her clients a strong support system, she works with them to discover what the underlying issues are that keep them from being healthy. “I’m kind of like a health shrink,” she said. Ms. Reed also enjoys showing clients how to create healthy and delicious recipes. “Everybody responds differently to diet and exercise,” she said. “Each individual has her own set of issues...each person is her own hot wreck. My challenge is to find out how they became a wreck and what is the best way to help them get to their health goals.” She sees herself helping women manage their lives beyond simply dealing with immune issues or diseases. “I want to help them learn how the disease affects their bodies...so they can be the healthiest ‘them’ they can be,” she added.
