National Association of Professional Women Announces Holly Wells, M.B.A., Consultant / Entrepreneur, a 2014-2015 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- NAPW honors Holly Wells as a 2014-2015 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Wells is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As the largest networking organization of professional women in the country, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and over 200 Local Chapters.
“My areas of expertise are financial and IT management,” says Ms. Wells. “I help my clients by putting better leverage tools in place; I assist with process re-engineering and integration.”
An Independent Consultant since 2007, Ms. Wells left her corporate position to strike out on her own once she tired of dealing with office politics. Her consulting company has been quite successful, but when long hours and little rest began taking its toll on her health and well-being, Ms. Wells imposed a much-needed sabbatical on herself. "After changing some basic habits such as sleeping, eating and managing stress, I felt so much better! I wanted to share this knowledge and the helpful expert resources I'd found with others," says Ms. Wells.
Also an entrepreneur, Ms. Wells has taken her passion for living a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle and turned it into a professional endeavor. She has created two websites she hopes will increase global awareness and encourage others to participate in sustainable living. At EyeLoveNature.com, a nonprofit website that is a tribute to sustainable living, Ms. Wells offers free information and resources. At NewLeafHumanity.com, she collaborates with experts who offer classes and workshops about eco-harmonic living.
“The world is shifting from the outdated win - lose paradigm to a win - win model. We need to start being better stewards of the planet and our bodies,” believes Ms. Wells. “Living your passion and taking care of yourself physically and mentally are key components of sustainable living.”
NAPW’s mission is to provide an exclusive networking forum to professional women where they can aspire, connect and achieve. Through innovative resources, unique tools and progressive benefits, members interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other.
