National Association of Professional Women Inducts Tina Hatcher, Sole Proprietor at Earth Girl Wellness, LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) October 25, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Tina Hatcher as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Tina into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Tina Hatcher has always had a passion for health and wellness. “As a young child, I enjoyed playing outside and engaging in sports and dancing,” she said. “I started teaching aerobics and eating clean in high school in an effort to help me stay physically and mentally healthy.” She continued to pursue her interest in healthy living in college, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master’s in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Adult Fitness.
Although Ms. Hatcher has worked extensively in a number of related fields, including corrective exercise, sports performance and sports nutrition, weight loss and nutritional counseling, she recently realized her dream of starting her own holistic wellness business. “Earth Girl Wellness, LLC, has been a dream of mine for years,” she noted. “I am responsible for all of the program development, teaching, consulting, marketing and financials of my company.”
Working with children and adults in one-on-one counseling sessions, small group classes and large seminars, Ms. Hatcher helps clients navigate the world of holistic nutrition and wellness. “I am a strong leader, excel as a public speaker and enjoy teaching others,” she said. “I have an aptitude for understanding clients and their struggles but am able to keep things ‘real’ by setting appropriate expectations for individuals looking to improve their lifestyles.”
Juggling her demanding workload with her life as a wife and mother of four children, one of whom has special needs, Ms. Hatcher constantly strives for balance. She said she is rewarded when her clients “have ‘aha’ moments and choose to change their lifestyles in such positive ways.” Ms. Hatcher has many plans for the future, including becoming a nationally recognized speaker on the subject of holistic wellness and becoming a subject matter expert in that area. She currently writes for "Bella," a local magazine and hopes to do more writing on a national level. “I am also working on a program to teach others how to transition into holistic wellness and I hope to launch a meal plan subscription program for holistic eating for busy families,” Ms. Hatcher added. “Since I live this lifestyle, others can surely do it, as well!”
