An integrative physician, Dr. Hamilton, who is also board certified in physician nutrition, “looks beyond the symptoms to determine the true causes of your child's illness.” Through her practice, Holistic Pediatric Consulting in Boulder, CO, which she established in 2005, Dr. Hamilton takes a biomedical and integrative approach to diagnosing and treating children with chronic health issues, particularly autism and ADHD, as well as other behavioral issues, childhood obesity and digestive issues.
Also committed to helping women have healthier babies, Dr. Hamilton has spent five years researching and writing Preventing Autism and ADHD. Controlling Risk Factors Before, During and after Pregnancy, a book that focuses on preventing chronic illnesses in childhood such as autism and ADHD. Continuing her commitment to doing all she can to ensure the health of both children and women, Dr. Hamilton plans to soon establish an Integrative Center and Counseling for Women. “I want to concentrate on pre-conception health and offer workshops and webinars for women,” she adds.
