National Association of Professional Women Inducts Juliet Nowak, MHA, INF, Managing Owner Angels Loving Care, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) May 02, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Juliet Nowak as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Juliet into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Inspired to make a difference in people’s lives, Juliet Nowak decided to embark on a career in in-home healthcare in 2005. “I found it very rewarding and fulfilling because at the end of the day or at the end of someone’s life journey, I knew I made an impact on someone’s loved one,” she said.
After about six years, Ms. Nowak wanted to explore another facet of healthcare and started caring for people in a facility rather than in their homes. However, she soon realized the value and advantages of in-home care. “Then an opportunity to open an in-home healthcare business presented itself and I’m glad I did it because I am now in a position to help more individuals,” she said. Although she started Angels Loving Care, Inc., which is located in Columbus, WI, with a business partner, Ms. Nowak is now the sole owner and has been the Managing Owner since 2014.
In her role, Ms. Nowak is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, including strategy, finance, human resources, safety regulation compliance, sales and marketing. Although she finds the financial management aspect to be a challenge, Ms. Nowak is an expert at networking. “I believe the backbone of the business is marketing and good marketing strategies are the key to running a successful organization,” she added.
Looking to grow and expand her business throughout the state of Wisconsin, Ms. Nowak hopes to serve as many families as she can. “In-home care is a very challenging career,” she said. “It’s not glamorous and it takes a special person with lots of compassion to work as a caregiver or in any healthcare job. And being appreciated by families is what keeps me going in the business.”
