NAPW Inducts Margaret M. Stoch, M.H.S., CCC-SLP, President, Quality Carpentry & Roofing, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 26, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Margaret M. Stoch as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“It gives me great pleasure to present Margaret with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “I applaud her for using her expertise to build a successful business enterprise.”
Margaret Stoch learned the value of hard work from her mother, who owned a small grocery store in their hometown in Poland. As a young girl, she loved to work alongside her, helping out wherever she could and learning the importance of customer service.
“I always looked up to my mom and was inspired by her ability to successfully run her own business while being a wife and a mother to four children,” said Ms. Stoch. “I moved to the United States when I was 16 and by that time I knew that hard work, determination and sacrifice were the key elements required to achieving life’s goals.”
Ms. Stoch worked hard, obtained degrees in Graphic Design, Print Journalism and Speech Language Pathology, and knew that one day she would be a business owner. Eventually, she met and married a man who, like her, was a hard-working immigrant. A successful construction worker and talented carpenter, he also dreamed of one day opening his own business. In 2007, they realized their dreams and opened Quality Carpentry & Roofing.
As President, Ms. Stoch uses the business skills she began honing as a young girl working in her mother’s store as well as those she taught herself, such as bookkeeping and marketing, along with her creativity and design expertise. Organized and efficient, Ms. Stoch also has a passion for exceptional customer service. ”I pay very close attention to every detail of our business in the office as well as out in the field so our customers can be certain they can trust our company,” she said. “I want to make sure that at the end of the day we are able to provide our customers with the best possible service.”
As the mother of three boys, Ms. Stoch, who also works part-time as a Speech Language Pathologist, does sometimes find it challenging to juggle both professional and family life, but like her mother, she has been able to successfully manage both. Although she looks forward to growing the business, she also wants to stay true to the values she learned from her mother.
“For the future, I would like to continue to grow our company in terms of the markets we serve as well as expand on the services we provide,” she said. “However, I would like our company to stay relatively small so I can still make sure my core values are being implemented throughout the daily operations so that we can continue to provide our customers with great services.”
