National Association of Professional Women Inducts Maureen Doran-Houlihan, Innovative Learning Architect at Mastercard, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Maureen Doran-Houlihan has been with Mastercard for more than ten years. In her role as Innovative Learning Architect, she leads an award-winning team of internal and external Learning Consultants and Instructional/Digital Designers. Before joining Mastercard, Ms. Doran-Houlihan honed her marketing and communication skills at companies such as Chase, CBS and NBC. A successful entrepreneur, she was also the Co-Owner/Operator of two restaurants/catering companies.

A native New Yorker, Ms. Doran-Houlihan credits her city upbringing with helping her to sharpen and develop her expert professional skills—from managing to communicating to collaborating. She considers herself an ‘artist,’ someone who can assemble, nurture and manage a team of talented professionals who together create effective, innovative and integrated marketing campaigns.

Ms. Doran-Houlihan has a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Manhattanville College and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/ Corporate Communications from Manhattan College. A licensed private pilot, she also holds a number of volunteer roles, including Marketing Chair, Board of Trustees at St. Catherine Academy and Mastercard’s Global Diversity Office-Business Resource Group: Women’s Leadership Network.
