National Association of Professional Women Announces Donna McRae-Jones, Retired, Claims Dept., Allstate National Catastrophe Team, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- NAPW honors Donna L. McRae-Jones as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. McRae-Jones is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in insurance services. “I have always been motivated by people who need my help,” says Ms. McRae-Jones, now retired from Allstate Insurance after more than 30 years. Her first title with Allstate was Claims Service Representative. Ms. McRae-Jones was the main insurance company contact for claimants, and she soon developed a reputation for being an expert in her field. She processed claims on time and in accordance with insurance good faith laws while simultaneously applying her exceptional investigative, assessment and customer service skills in order to make determinations for claims.
During her last 14 years at Allstate, Ms. McRae-Jones was chosen to manage and direct an elite 50-member catastrophe team. Her team was responsible for processing the enormous influx of claims caused by the devastating impact of a number of major storms, including Hurricanes Katrina, Charlie and Francis.
Ms. McRae-Jones has an A.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of the District of Columbia. She is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity in Buckingham County, Virginia and is the Vice President of Central Arts.
