National Association of Professional Women Announces Margaret Sliming, Senior IT Consultant at CGI Group, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Sliming is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in information technology. Ms. Sliming is a Senior IT Consultant with CGI Group, an industry leader when it comes to helping clients achieve their business goals. In her current role at CGI, she uses her industry expertise to create software for the mortgage backed securities division of Fannie Mae.
With more than 25 years of experience, Ms. Sliming has worked both in Canada and the US, designing and developing mainframe applications. She primarily uses IDMS, COBOL and ADSO, always providing the necessary skills needed to ensure a project is completed on time and on budget. "I have designed, developed and implemented a number of projects throughout my career that were thought to be impossible," says Ms. Sliming.
Also the Founder of DivaProgrammer, LLC, Ms. Sliming recently established her own company to provide expert IT services to other corporations. Working with a team of experienced professionals, Ms. Sliming oversees all projects from inception to completion. She is in constant communication with all involved players, interacting closely with both clients and her team members to make certain projects are progressing in a timely manner.
