National Association of Professional Women Inducts Susan Gregg, Owner at God, Angels, and I Uneek Dezine, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Susan Gregg as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in jewelry design. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“It gives me great pleasure to present Susan with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “I applaud her for using her expertise to build a successful business enterprise.”
Ms. Gregg and her siblings moved to Arizona to be close to their elderly parents. Feeling sad and lonely after they passed away and her brother and sister left the area, she turned to creating jewelry to keep herself occupied. “I started making necklaces again, just from boredom,” said Ms. Gregg. “When I made them, my mind was free from the sadness that had taken over. I made more and more.”
Urged by her husband to start selling her hand-crafted jewelry, she eventually founded her virtual store, God, Angels and I Uneek Dezine. Knowing virtually nothing about computers or running an online business, Ms. Gregg has nevertheless learned all she can about building and maintaining a website, and two years later, her business venture is thriving. “I truly was and still am a greenhorn. I still need to blog and use YouTube and social media, but I am not sad; I have no time to be sad,” she said.
Through networking and nurturing the connections she has made with other NAPW members, Ms. Gregg is hoping to continue to grow her business. She is passionate about creating unique jewelry for women. “I am very creative, and work constantly. I won’t stop making neck creations or neckkisses, as I call them, until I am physically incapable,” she said. “Someday it would be wonderful to have women everywhere wearing something I made myself! How cool would that be?”
