A Senior Transportation Consultant, Marcelle Sattiewhite Jones has over 25 years of experience in transportation development and operations, land-use planning and more. After receiving her J.D. and Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin, Ms. Jones went on to work with the Texas Tollway Authority as General Counsel and Director of Legal Services. She is currently with Jacobs Engineering Group, which is among the largest global providers of comprehensive engineering and professional technical consulting services.
Ms. Jones advises clients on a wide array of subjects ranging from draft organization policies and strategies, to contracts for a variety of transportation agencies in several states. Her immense knowledge of business rules, legislation and procurement documents has made her an expert in her field.
In addition to her workplace accomplishments, Ms. Jones is also involved with the Transportation Research Board Law Committee, Women in Transportation and the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, and serves as General Counsel at Passports to College. She is passionate about causes such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she proudly serves as a Big Sister. In addition, Ms. Jones is a part of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
