National Association of Professional Women Inducts Judy Smart, President, RoadRunner Towing & Recovery, Inc., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Judy Smart’s husband James established RoadRunner Towing & Recovery, Inc. Following his death in 2001, Ms. Smart took on a full-time leadership role in the company. Nearly 15 years later, the company remains a community staple in Baton Rouge, LA.

In her role as President, Ms. Smart is responsible for office management, finances, public relations and speaking before local legislature. She is a member of the Louisiana Motor Transport Association, and was the first woman to receive the Davidge Award.
In addition to her impressive professional pursuits, Ms. Smart is Founder of Baton Rouge Area Victims Empowered and sits on the Board of Directors of Special Olympics. She is a Sponsor at Stuff the Bus and Child Advocacy Center and supports the Wounded Warrior Project. While participating in philanthropic causes on her own time, Ms. Smart also ensures that RoadRunner sponsors local efforts in the company’s name.
