Ms. Egan, a member of the Florida and Louisiana Bars, has been practicing law for 30 years. She began her career in 1984 as a lawyer in the state of Louisiana, focusing on the areas of insurance and workers' compensation defense. In 2001, Ms. Egan began practicing in the state of Florida and this year established her own law firm, J.L. Egan Law, P.A.
Working with individuals as they navigate their workers' compensation claims, Ms. Egan has expanded the scope of legal services her practice provides. Realizing that many people were affected by the financial woes that overtook this country a few years ago, she also works with clients who are dealing with such life-altering issues as bankruptcy, foreclosure, landlord and tenant disputes and much more.
