National Association of Professional Women Inducts Heather Boice, J.D., Senior Counsel of Perkins Coie LLP, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in law. For nearly three years, Heather Boice has held a key position at Perkins Coie LLP, a political law firm that “is known for its innovative approach to campaign finance, exceptional record of election-related litigation and knowledge and experience in corporate political activity.”
As Senior Counsel in the Patent Litigation section of the Commercial Litigation Department, Ms. Boice focuses her legal expertise on all areas of patent infringement litigation, patent prosecution and non-infringement opinions. To date, she has represented clients in nearly 340 investigations in the area of patent infringement allegations.
Ms. Boice earned her Juris Doctor from The John Marhsall Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. She provides pro bono services by serving as a guardian ad litem for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and also participates in moot court competitions and mock trials at local law schools in her area.
