Ms. Deese’s professional title is Attorney at Gleason, Flynn, Emig & Fogleman, which is a law firm specializing in medical malpractice, serious personal injury, complex litigation and business and commercial law. She manages and defends complex litigation from inception through settlement and / or trial. She also supervises associates, paralegals and administrative personnel.
“I present cases to claims committees at the corporate and hospital levels,” said Ms. Deese, who obtained her Juris Doctor from American University. “I prepare and present speeches on various topics to Physicians in grand rounds.”
Ms. Deese is justifiably proud of all her professional accomplishments, which have led her to other endeavors such as previously teaching a course to the DC Bar titled “Litigating a Medical Malpractice Case,” in conjunction with a retired Judge and a member of the Plaintiff’s bar. She also gave a speech titled “Intersection of the Law and Medicine,” to new residents at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital.
