She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. “I am dedicated to my mission of creating exceptional food and extraordinary service,” said Jodi Auerbach, Owner of Savory Event Consulting and Catering. As owner of a full-service catering and event planning company, she provides services for weddings, corporate luncheons, dinner parties, bar / bat mitzvahs and everything in between. She is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Management, bringing her love of fine dining and passion for service excellence to the business.
During its inaugural year, Ms. Auerbach began her career at the Boston Harbor Hotel. She started as Manager of the hotel’s elegant Rowes Wharf Restaurant, then as Manager of the catering department. Her exceptional work ethic and strong commitment to detail produced flawless affairs that kept guests coming back for more. Following her successes at the Boston Harbor Hotel, she developed catering divisions for some of Boston’s most popular restaurants, including the Elephant Walk, Rocco’s and the Green Street Grill.
Ms. Auerbach is currently involved with Meeting Planners International. She is drawn to and passionate about food rescue and recovery. She currently works with charitable organizations such as Arlington EATS and Food for Free - Party Under the Harvest Moon Festival.
