“I have worked in patient experience for eight years, but in truth, it’s been a life-long journey,” she said. “Even as a young Nurse, I believed the care of a patient and family was a privilege and the care that I provided to them needed to be defined with them.”
As System Director Patient Experience, Ms. Skrocki has honed in on many skills in the healthcare field. Her key responsibilities include setting a strategy for great patient experience, build on positive and effective relationships between the patient and provider, and providing practical tools to improve communication among patients, families and hospital colleagues.
“My goal is to continue this journey, helping where there is suffering, learning something new every day and developing others to carry on this work as I approach retirement.”
