National Association of Professional Women Inducts Ebonie Copeland, Founder / Director, Judah Dance Co., Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. In 2009, Ebonie Copeland became the Founder and Director of Judah Dance Company in Owings Mills, MD. The company offers liturgical, modern and African dance classes. Intertwining a person’s inner strength and spirituality, Judah Dance Company was created to train the mind, body and soul to worship through dance.
A New Jersey native, Ms. Copeland obtained a dual degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ. She has been an elementary educator in public and private schools for over ten years. Along with being an educator, she is also a dance choreographer at the studio Biblical Teacher and Commissioner for Baltimore County Arts and Dance.
Ms. Copeland has successfully combined her passions for dance and religious views to create a business that can help others find strength and peace. She serves others through dance in outside churches and the local communities. Judah Dance Company regularly visits nursing homes and hospitals, participates in blood drives and is actively involved with local women’s shelters and other community events.
