Through her pursuit of continued professional development, Deana Skidmore’s expert knowledge and skills have kept pace to meet the ever-evolving compliance demands, scientific progress and regulatory issues of the medical profession. She is the Assistant Director of Nursing at Wilton Meadows, a healthcare center that specializes in rehabilitation. Her areas of expertise include gerontology, training, development and leadership.
Wilton Meadows Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is a 148-bed facility located in Wilton, CT, and has been successfully in business for over 20 years. With Ms. Skidmore’s help and dedication, the center continues to grow and evolve to meet the community’s needs. It offers a full continuum of care, from short-term rehabilitation to long-term skilled nursing care, temporary respite stays, as well as a broad array of specialty programs.
Ms. Skidmore obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Fairfield University. She continues to help enhance the quality of life of individuals who are suffering from continuous health challenges, aging or temporary illness and disabilities. She’s determined to build a supportive, professional environment and create a strong sense of connection with each resident to make their day as safe, comfortable and fulfilling as she possibly can.
