National Association of Professional Women Announces Lisa J. Welker, Project Manager at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

During her nearly 25 years of experience working in the healthcare industry, Ms. Welker has garnered a wealth of healthcare and IT industry knowledge. Her understanding of healthcare information technology (HIT) projects and their development cycles, as well as healthcare administration, enable her to expertly process consumer engagement and recognize the specific communication needs. In her role as Project Manager at UPMC, Ms. Welker plans, coordinates and executes project and communication plans for HIT projects.
