National Association of Professional Women Announces Sandra Lee Bennett, Independent Medical Device Professional, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 -- NAPW honors Sandra Lee Bennett, Independent Medical Device Professional, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Bennett is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in medical device consulting. “I bring a broad and diverse technical background that includes electronics electro-mechanical assembly, Six Sigma Green Belt, Quality Systems and Lean TQM tools,” said Sandra Bennett. She is recognized as an exceptional customer-focused and solutions-driven professional with over 15 years of technical and operational experience within an FDA regulated medical device and diagnostics manufacturing environment.
Currently contracting with Astute Medical, Ms. Bennett’s experience includes manufacturing engineering, supervising and managing production, operations and new product introduction. She is well-versed in ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality system standards and current FDA quality system requirements, (21 CFR Part 820), cGMP, as well as experienced in implementing lean manufacturing flow, providing sustaining support and continuous improvement for existing production lines, service departments and suppliers.
Ms. Bennett received her Bachelor degree in Operations Management from National University and is currently involved with the Society of Women Engineers. Driven by a constant pursuit of knowledge, Ms. Bennett is contemplating pursuing a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management, with an emphasis on Six Sigma for Enterprise and Project Management
