National Association of Professional Women Inducts Graciela Moreno, President at Med-Cannabis Pharma, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Graciela Moreno as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
Ms. Moreno is the President of Med-Cannabis Pharma (MCPI), a publicly held company. A member of the National Cannabis Industry Association, the company that specializes in evaluating, financing and purchasing early-stage, fully licensed wholesale medical marijuana cultivation and retail distribution companies.
“Medical marijuana is being adopted state-by-state at a rapid pace,” said Ms. Moreno. “Our focus is to actively partner with or acquire businesses to best serve the community with the safest and highest-quality products, while adding long-term value to shareholders.”
The joint venture results in a mutually beneficial relationship of business expansion, including added funding, updating facilities, increased top-quality inventory and connections to growers.
In addition to attaining medical marijuana collectives and / or medical marijuana dispensaries currently in legal operation, MCPI also plans on financing new collectives / dispensaries in states where medical marijuana has been newly legalized.
Ms. Moreno looks forward to expanding the company to include a medical marijuana company grow facility to produce more of its own product. This would greatly reduce level inventory costs and allow for research with different levels of CBD (cannabidiol) concentration to give further support to patients.
“Our goal is to develop strong and trustworthy relationships with not only our partners, but also customers who are the cornerstone for a thriving community establishment in an ever-expanding alternative market for health and wellness,” said Ms. Moreno.
