National Association of Professional Women Inducts LaKeisha Melton, Business Process Lead at Cameron International, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

Ms. Melton, business process lead at Cameron International, is the project execution systems transform liaison between the IT department and the business divisions for risk management, document control, planning and scheduling, cost control and project management systems. The global company is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to oil, gas and process industries.
In her role, Ms. Melton is responsible for ongoing quality assurance of all business and application processes for new systems, current system enhancements and system upgrades. She is a key decision-maker when it comes to selecting new systems for the global company. “I also develop business requirements documentation, business process documentation, business analysis, testing documentation, training, etc., throughout the project life cycle,” said Ms. Melton.
In addition to her position at Cameron International, Ms. Melton uses her skills as an entrepreneur to share her knowledge and mentor others. She is the owner of Elevating Strengths, where she combines her technology skills with her creative abilities to provide clients with arts, media and technology custom products and services.
