National Association of Professional Women Inducts Sara Jupin, Computer Programmer in Meteorology Research at Kinetic Analysis Corp., Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Sara Jupin as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. “I’ve always been interested in meteorology ever since I was a kid,” said Ms. Jupin. She eventually chose it as her college major. After graduation, she landed a job assisting in developing computer code and enhancing existing code capable of running analysis on different types of severe weather conditions. Since her employment at Kinetic Analysis, Ms. Jupin has been responsible for creating and contributing to various research projects that improve the understanding of severe weather that is hard to predict or analyze.
One of her first projects at Kinetic Analysis was the development of a program to analyze wind damage from tornado events that opened up a larger variety of weather analysis for meteorologists. Ms. Jupin has built a reputation as a skilled programmer capable of using her exceptional skills whenever a situation warrants it. Ms. Jupin graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Earth and Atmospheric Science and a concentration in Meteorology.
