The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Stacie Milavec Silkowski as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Ms. Milavec Silkowski is a career Naval Officer and Clinical Laboratory Scientist certified through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and by American Medical Technologists (AMT). She has served on active duty in the United States Navy since November 1999. In 2012, she took on the role of Director for Clinical Support Services at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA.
“In my role as Director for Clinical Support Services, I am responsible for Pharmacy, Radiology and Laboratory services as well as the operations of the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy clinics. I also serve on the command’s Board of Directors and Executive Steering Committee,” said Ms. Milavec Silkowski.
Ms. Milavec Silkowski also serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary for the Society of American Federal Medical Laboratory Scientists (SAFMLS). The organization specializes in the professional development of laboratory scientists in the DoD, US Public Health Service and Veteran’s Affairs. She maintains active membership affiliations with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA) and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS).
Beyond her remarkable professional pursuits, Ms. Milavec Silkowski is a passionate advocator for the necessary assistance and services of veteran warfighters and the Wounded Warrior Project.
